Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Uni-Verse (uni-verse.co.in) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Platform status

Uni-Verse is currently in pre-launch. The waitlist is the only active feature. Full platform terms governing grievance posting, community audits, and Verity Score calculations will be published at launch.

3. Waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the platform or any specific launch date. We reserve the right to close the waitlist or change access criteria at any time. Waitlist position is based on sign-up time and referral activity.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Uni-Verse. The platform is intended for students currently enrolled at or alumni of Indian colleges and universities.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Submit false, defamatory, or malicious information about any college or individual.
• Attempt to game or manipulate the Verity Score through coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person.
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the platform without written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the anonymity system.

6. Intellectual property

The Uni-Verse name, logo, Verity Score mark, and all platform content are the intellectual property of Uni-Verse. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information on it is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Uni-Verse and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email you provided. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
